IE 10 is blocking javascript on local html files

I am using IE Browser Version: 10.0.9200.16614 Update Version: 10.0.6 (KB2838727) with Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.

I am finding that javascript code that I enter into a local html file and then try to open with IE 10 is blocked and the message

Internet Explorer restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls.

appears at the bottom of my screen. If I hit the allow blocked content button, the js content appears.

This does not happen with any other browsers, only IE 10.

I have active scripting enabled.

What should I do to stop this blocking?

FYI

I just found the solution to my problem.

IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Security> check - Allow active content to run in files on My Computer

Someone else had the same problem and had posted a solution on another forum.

Thanks
