Help ! My Internet explorer Disappeared ?

Help ? Somehow By Accident My Internet Explorer 10 has disappeared , My IE is gone ! It says in programs and features says Internet Explorer (enable DEP)  I have IE 10, I want IE 9 instead of 10. I can't find it listed . But, the computer says it's here ? I use HP IE 10 Windows 7 64 bit, Had Mozilla Firefox as my browser, I switched it to IE Default ? Instead of Firefox, I want to use Firefox as my Browser, but still need IE for my mail, and some programs I use/see . This mistake happened, because I was trying to get video of GD to play, it would spin around but not load. I was using VLC to watch videos. It says it's there, but it didn't work ,it was, don't know why it stopped? I took it out. Then I went to a site, put it back in.  I went somewhere (I am sorry I don't remember where) It said something about IE or Firefox, I checked Firefox ? I went in now where you set default programs, Internet Explorer wasn't listed only Firefox, but I made it my browser ( IE)  I have IE pinned to my taskbar, When I hit the butterfly it comes up Internet Explorer ?? I am going to change it (browser) back to firefox ! And your right ! I HAVE No Ideal what I am doing ? ! Help me clean up my mess ! Thank You !
