How to link to a specific answer in answers.microsoft.com?

Some of the questions posed on answers.microsoft.com contain multiple pages of responses. Sometimes, I want to refer to a specific answer that I may be trying. I haven't found a "Share" button or some-such that that provides a link to a specific answer. Is a way to cite a specific answer or response?

Hi Franky, the text to link feature is broken in the latest Firefox builds. Even extensions that perform the task are not working.

You can create a shortcut in Firefox to easily get a link for any post on these forums. Just bookmark any page anywhere you like and name it something like Bookmarklet links. Then right click on the bookmark and select Edit Bookmark. Remove the URL, then paste in the bold code below (it's all one line).

[removed_js]void [removed_js]{([removed_js]{var t,n,a,r,o,s,l,i=e.getElementsByName("search.title")[0].content,d=location.href.replace(/[\%3F%23].*/,""),g=e.querySelectorAll("div.thread-message[msgid]"),m=g.length,c=e.createElement("a");for(c.target="_blank",c.title="\u{1F517}",c.style.display="block",c.style.backgroundColor="%23b84300",c.style.color="white",c.style.padding="10px",c.style.marginTop="8px",c.style.marginRight="30px",c.style.marginBottom="8px",c.style.fontSize="11px",c.style.lineHeight="27px",s=e.getElementsByName("awa-prevPage"),l=1==s%3Fs[0].content:"1",d=d+"%3Fpage="+l,i=i+'\x22'+" page "+l,n=e.getElementById("threadQuestion"),a=e.getElementsByName("awa-threadId")[0].content,c.href=d,c.textContent=i,t=n.querySelector("div.message-user-info-text-and-badge"),t.appendChild(c);m>0;)m--,c=c.cloneNode(!0),n=g[m],o=n.getAttribute("msgid"),r=n.querySelector("div.message-user-info-text-and-badge"),c.href="https%3A%2F%2Fanswers.microsoft.com%2Fmessage%2F"+o+"%3FthreadId="+a,c.textContent='Thread\x20\x22'+i+'\x3A\u2002'+n.querySelector("a.user-name-show-white-space").innerText+(t=n.querySelector("button.message-user-info-link-history")).innerText.replace("Replied","%27s reply"),r.appendChild(c)})(document)}();

When you want a link, just click the bookmark and all the posts will have a highlighted link. Right click on the link and Copy Link.
