Issue with Printing Labels for FedEx or UPS on Windows 10 Edge

I have been having problems printing return labels for FedEx and also UPS since I upgraded to Windows 10 Edge and was wondering if anyone is having the same problem?  I use the HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 All-In-One printer and it works when I have to open up Google Chrome and print.  In the Edge it will only print the instructions and not the label.  Is the problem with Edge?

Hi Edwin,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Does the same issue occurs when you try to print using Internet Explorer?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 Edge browser and check if it helps:

  1. Once the document is open in Edge, press Ctrl+P or More actions button at the top last end of the browser.
  2. Click Print as PDF button.
  3. Check if the document prints as expected.

If the issue persists, Once the page opens, take a screenshot and send it to us for further assistance.

I am having the same problem, I cannot print a FedEx label from Edge.  I have tried several printers in the office with no help .  All print the label instructions but not the label.  I reverted to IE11 and the label prints without a problem.   Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem printing labels from FedEx online to my ZP 500 Plus printer after I updated to Windows 10.  It seems that the java printing applet would not start to initiate printing.

Here is the three steps I did to correct the problem.

1. Download and install Microsoft Visual J#2 Redistributable package.   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4712

2. Update Java to latest version.

3. Use the old internet explorer to print. C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

Edge, Firefox ect doesn't work since updating to windows 10 on my computer but the old explorer works fine now.

Is there no way to correct this issue? Microsoft Edge simply cannot print a shipping label from FedEx.com and we need to use a different browser to do so? That's a pretty big shortfall for Edge, to go along with other shortfalls such as the inability to save a new file over an existing file with the same name (ie to replace materials that are updated quarterly).

I have been able to find a temporary fix in changing the print options from "shrink to fit" to "100%" when printing.  It seems to work every time when I do this...
