IPv6 not working in Microsoft Edge

I'm experiencing the issue on ALL of my machines that IPv6-resources cannot be accessed with Microsoft Edge browser. Every other browser works just fine, but Edge simply times out after a few seconds. I tried Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Chromium, Seamonkey, Safari. Only Edge is having this problem.

Anybody else can confirm? Any secret setting to turn on IPv6?

To test, visit http://ipv6.google.com

I can't access this address from Edge, but from every other single browser out there.

Well, with me... it doesn't work in any browser.   And, the error message seems to indicate that the problem is with the DNS.... and nothing to do with IPv6 at all!

Hi graye,

does your ISP actually offer IPv6? What's the result of www.ipv6-test.com?

That's not all that relevant of a question in my case... as my router doesn't support IPv6.

So, not surprisingly, no browser on my system reports IPv6 on that test site.   But the point I was trying to make was that your original URL to test for IPv6 compliance was at fault.

To test, visit http://ipv6.google.com

.

First go here and see what it says

http://ipv6test.google.com/

The address for the site that you want to go to appears to be exclusively IPv6.  So, if you don't have IPv6 support that would explain why Edge wouldn't be able to get there.

A continuing problem in W10 is that it does not seem to properly support either ISATAP or Teredo for IPv6 support via IPv4 "tunneling".  If we had that then perhaps anyone could get to that site.

Strangely, there is no mention in Google's FAQ about this option.
