Turn ON-OFF Microsoft Edge pop-up notifications

Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me how to turn on-off the pop-up notifications? I'm using Edge and want to turn on the pop-up notifications from Facebook when here is incoming message. I saw my friends' laptop that the notifications appeared on the screen even though they were surfing the other webs.

Hello Anh Khoa,

Having a visibility of the notification from a certain website is beneficial, especially, if you're browsing another website. There are two things that we need to configure in order for us to enable this feature. First, we need to ensure that the notification settings are enabled in the Action Center. To do this, follow the steps provided on this link.

Second, we need to ensure that Microsoft Edge's web notification from a website is on. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge from your Start menu, desktop or taskbar.
  2. Click the More button in the top-right corner of the window that looks like three dots.

  3. Click on Settings and choose View advanced settings.

  4. Click on Manage under Notifications.

  5. Click the switch below the website name to turn it on and off.
