Q-See WebClient.exe fails in Edge and IE

With Q-See systems you can access the camera system by going to the IP as a webpage. It wants to download/run its own WebClient.exe and once installed it never asks to download/run again. Newer Internet Explorer and Edge can be "persuaded" to run it, but no video ever comes through and it. keeps trying to get it again (maybe marked not installed?). Attempted from 15-20 different PC systems which are accessing different IP's to different Q-See units of varying models and age. Does anyone have any ideas?

It is possible that the video encoding is not supported by Edge and Internet Explorer. Additionally, you might need to install a plug-in from Q-See or view the website in compatibility mode (IE). If the issue persists, we highly suggest that you report this issue in the EdgeHTML issue tracker so that our product team can investigate this problem.
