Why can't Edge just have a "Restore Previous Session" button available when Edge unexpectedly shuts down? Firefox is a breeze with that feature. Edge has the user going through all sorts of time-consuming and confusing gyrations to get to the previous session (a "session" being all the tabs that were open before the site crashed or the computer did an update/restart). Microsoft Edge should be an improvement, not a fail.

I'd like a copy of the chat I had yesterday with tech support agent, Marie Rose. I gave her control of my computer and she was helping me get rid of a virus and was to install Windows 11 for me, but I never received a verification email or a call, and contact was abruptly broken and I still have Windows 10 "S." Using edge, opening a URL took a long time to load but when using google, the URL loads immediately.

Full page McDonalds ads keep popping up when I open a page from the main Edge screen. how can I get this to stop. I've tried everything that has been suggested online. Still no dice.

Edge is up to date, and my Cache/Browsing History is completely cleared. Not sure what to do. All my games and other apps work fine, but not Edge.

The new msn homepage is absolutely awful and no amount of customisation can rectify this , I and many more would like to be able to switch back to Classic msn . If this option doesn't become available then I will have no other recourse than to ditch MSN altogether and use another provider .

I've been using my MSN account in Edge for years and yesterday I opened Edge and it's completely changed. MSN is now MSN Start and I can't believe how horrible the site is. The calculations perform as expected when using Acrobat Reader, Standard or Pro as the editor. Another telltale is that when a value is entered in a field the tab key must be pressed for the value to be formattedd as configured in Acrobat - the Enter key has no effect.

Brand new Edge user moving from Chrome. Pretty much have everything working the way I want, except one issue. Edge doesn't seem to be saving any history in text fields. I'm probably using the wrong terminology. I just mean any box you type things in. Chrome, in most cases, would have a history and when I start typing it would show all prior entries that match. Not sure when this started, but Spell checker in MS Edge no longer offers suggestions for misspelled words. I have gone into Edges setting and ensured that Use grammar and spell-check assistance is selected as well as clearing the cache.

I am having trouble to gain access to my Microsoft rewards but I keep getting rewards.bing.com uses an unsupported protocol.But I don't know what to do and I have tried to do it on bing and chrome and also tried to log out then back in again but makes no difference. Edge no longer automatically signs in to saved sites, has lost previously saved passwords, and no longer prompts to save passwords for sites.In wallet, there are currently no saved passwords listed and if I manually add a password, it says it was successfully added but the list remains empty, In the wallet setting, offer to save passwords is ON. for example, in the task bar i type in " bing not working properly", and i press enter, it then shows edge as if i would have searched it up showing results, but it then redirects me to the bing homepage and I have to press the back arrow to go back to the search results.

I have no trouble viewing pages already bookmarked, but when I use the Bing search, all that comes up is a blank white page. I refreshed the page a few times, and also restarted my laptop, but no luck. Still blank white.
