Not Receiving Rewards Points for Bing Searches On Chrome

On Google Chrome, I set my new tab page to Bing so that I would earn Microsoft Rewards Points, and I kept forgetting to use the Bing search bar. Then, I saw a sweepstakes that I really wanted to enter into, and I wanted a lot of entries. So I decided that I would save up my points. What I did was I changed what search engine my address bar uses on Chrome, but every time I do a search, regardless of whether I use the Bing search bar on my new tab or if I go to the Bing website on Chrome and search from there, I still don't earn any points. Its pretty upsetting. What I find bizarre, however, is that when I do a search on Safari on my phone, it works. But it doesn't work when I search directly from Bing, it doesn't. I could really use some help. And being that I don't check my point balance very often, it would be easy for me to level up and get more points and save up tons of points, but I never get to because I would have to do all of my searches on my phone.
