Bing homepage, how do I turn OFF the "Popular Now" section?

On the Bing landing page, how does one turn off the "Popular Now" feature? I know how to "minimize" it, but how does one get rid of even the text headlines entirely? It's annoying.

Ok, to be simple. There is no way a user can remove "Popular Now" portion. There is only an arrow-down symbol/icon which function is to minimize Bing "Popular Now".

 

Once you minimize "Popular Now" then close browser, it will stay as minimize not unless you maximize it again :)

For all the folks wanting Bing freedom... There is a very nice and easy work around to remove this annoying pop-up bar on Bing. So, don't be forced to use that hated and despised and nasty Google search engine. Remove the pop-up bar and enjoy Bing with its daily image photography by using this simple setting here.
