Why can't I redeem MS Reward Points into Bing Boosts?

Hello,

I read in the web that I'm supposed to be able to redeem Microsoft Reward points into Bong Boosts, which I want to spent on the new Bing Image creator based on DALL-E3.

When I try this using https://rewards.bing.com/redeem - I don't have the 'Bing Boosts' on the list of available rewards. Is it region dependent? If so - when ca I expect this to be available in Poland??

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Rewards does not normally announce when certain rewards are being added or updated on the rewards list. If the reward is not available on your redeem page, it is likely that the reward is not yet being offered to your account or region.

For the time being, I suggest doing your daily activities to accumulate more points and always checking your redeem page for the latest updates on rewards.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance. I will be glad to help.
Van S.

So I think you can only redeem the rewards if you have ZERO boosts - so you need to use them all up and hope that then you can convert! That's what I read from the info in the Image Creator Help:

"6How do Microsoft Rewards work with Image Creator?

If you run out of boosts, you have the option to use Microsoft Rewards to redeem for additional boosts and enjoy faster processing times. When you run out of boosts in Image Creator, you'll also be reminded that you have the option to

redeem Microsoft Rewards points for more boosts."

So it seems it won't offer to let you "buy" boosts until you've used up yours.. so a bit risky as it doesn't even say how many boosts your rewards will buy and if you use them all up in the middle of a creative session and you can't buy enough boosts with your rewards to finish what you're working on, you may just end up having to wait a week or so to build up more boosts!

I have run my boosts to zero, but cannot find a way to redeem rewards for more boosts. Microsoft should tell us now if this is not possible or give us an easy way to redeem them. Being coy about this just wastes people’s time.

Yes, I also interpreted that you can redeem rewards for boosts when you run out of boosts, but nobody has confirmed this. Has anybody actually found a way to redeem Microsoft Reward points for boosts?

This gives me a really poor impression of Microsoft and I wonder why such a large and successful company would allow this to happen. All of us are wasting our time looking for an answer that doesn’t exist. Why isn't Microsoft straightforward about this? If they found that there are too many AI Designer requests for the infrastructure they have then just tell us. I feel I'm being scammed. This is horrible customer relations.

But Microsoft is really quick at having you agree to the terms of service in which it explicitly states that you can redeem rewards for Image Creator boosts!

While I agree, it also tells me you know nothing about software companies. :) They are just like a duck, may look graceful on top, but paddling like hell under the water. Not surprise at all that one hand doesnt know what the other is doing, snafu.
