By the looks of it is that it might be ending soon based from the link below, although there is no official statement yet as there is also a possibility that this is still being reconsidered and we can only confirm once there has been an official release with regards to this.

Yes. Research shows that Microsoft is getting rid of the Cashback Program (including the Receipt Scan feature) which is why they are urging us to redeem our cash back balance before July 25th, 2024.

They do say that the feature will be available until then, however, when you open the Start app, the Scan function does not appear. Instead, it's replaced by an "Update".

It says July, but as of today, with the automatic app update turned on - the scan reciept feature is gone (unless I just can’t find it somehow) - so the listed date must be the deadline to withdraw your previously earned payouts?

This has been one of the least profitable cash back programs out there. One cent for a $200.00 Walmart receipt does not all up too fast.

I only cared about the Microsoft points, anyhow. I never found the actual money to be an incentive.

And you will hear that they will kill it off far faster and push us to explore alternatives, especially if two particular companies come out with similar programs. You all know which two companies I am talking about (hint: tech giants).
