I understand your concerns regarding the new Copilot, as similar threads have been posted here recently. What I can say is that this update suggests that not all features have been fully integrated yet into the new Copilot. It seems they will be gradually restoring them to improve the user experience. Let's continue to wait and check for updates.
Currently, you can verify whether your chat history is available via the Copilot button in Microsoft Edge, as it retains the previous interface (see the image below). You just have to expand it to make it similar to the old interface.
It's important to note that providing feedback is necessary so that Microsoft knows our sentiments. The greater the number of users providing feedback, the more likely we are to be heard. Please go to copilot.microsoft.com and click the 'Give Feedback' link after selecting the account profile icon to submit one.
