How to delete/disable Bing chatbot in Skype?

The latest version of Skype includes a very intrusive Bing chatbot. How can I get rid of it or disable it.

I blocked AND reported it for spam. Annoying!

I have experienced the same thing. To solve it, I blocked Bing. There is no Bing on my skype. I think this way can be used to remove it for now.

Has anyone found a permanent solution to this abuse?

I keep deleting Bing and I keep getting alerts daily.

Hi Carmen

I just kept deleting the bing search engine .its not a bot .

I kept deleting and changed skype password. Maybe it workrd ?? But its no longer happening .

Someone suggested changing my email passwords and passwords on social media . But dont know .

I dont think uninstalling skype will help

As soon as uou type in your email its back again .

been trying to get rid of this thing also, just blocked it on pc looks like it has also been blocked on phone aswell

lets hope it stays away, thanks for the help

I am using a MacIntosh Pro computer.

Running Big Sur 11.7

I want to PERMANENTLY delete BING from my SKype app.

I can delete it for one session, but every time Skype reboots -- BING REAPPEARS.

If I can't remove BING . . . I WILL STOP USING SKYPE.

Thank you for sharing the information. But when you re-open Skype it appears again. It would be great to delete it completely.

Mine has gone altogether now . Not sure what i did lol its not been back for days ,,,, i just kept deleting it over and over . Think i changed skype pass word, then checked contacts list ..

Bing shows in there, delete from there

Many thanks for taking the trouble to respond. I seem now to have got rid of that nasty intrusion that is Bing… Hopefully fir ever and ever… Thanks again!
