Bing not clearing my search history

Hello,

For some reason, whenever I try to clear my Bing search history (to clear browsing cache), it doesn't actually clear said search history. Instead, it asks me to validate my Microsoft account. After validating the Microsoft account using Microsoft edge's passkey feature along with Windows Hello, it just brings me back without actually clearing the search history. I tried to clear it five times already but of no use.

So basically what I mean is that Bing doesn't clear the search history no matter how many times you try to do so.

If I could get any help that would be really appreciated.

Please clear Edge cache as well from Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear data after you empty your Bing history.

Hello Sumit,

I just now found out that despite all that, Bing still doesn't clear the search history. What I mean is that it shows that it cleared it but after restarting the browser, (I think, I just now noticed it) it shows the old history as if it didn't clear it at all.

Is there a way to fix that or what?
