Bing is bugged again

Dear Microsoft,

I'm starting to lose interest in Bing. At first, I was fine with using it but nowadays, the bugs keep driving me crazy, not letting me enjoy the experience that long. I remember having some issues with Bing 3 months ago and they got resolved. Unfortunately, they're back but even worse. The first 2 are already well-known but that's not all.

(1) The dark theme keeps reverting to the light theme after some searches while my phone theme is dark.

(2) The option to open in another tab keeps getting unchecked.

(3) After 2 consecutive searches, the search suggestions stop showing up. The only way to get them back is to go back to the homepage to make them show up and the cycle goes on (new)

(4) The mobile keyboard would occasionally disappear after typing something (used to occur but it got patched)

(5) Sometimes, the browser will crash. I'm afraid that it's not a browser issue itself but that search engine kinda causes it (occasionally). I have to either close it and then open it or wait for the pop-up to choose close to refresh the browser.

No matter how many times I have sent MS a feedback, those issues won't still go away. Also, no matter how many times I have reinstalled Samsung browser or even cleared cache, the result was still the same. I'm losing my mind because of persistent problems.

Hello oosha2000,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I have the following instructions for the theme issue you are experiencing:

First of all, your theme is synchronized with the Microsoft account you are logged into, you can check your PC settings, if your settings are set to a light theme then your mobile will always be a light theme as well, or your browser is not set to change with the system theme.

Regarding your other issues we suggest you try Microsoft Browser Mobile for Android to see if you experience the same issue, if you experience the same issue again, please contact us again. Below is the link to download Microsoft Edge Mobile: Download Microsoft Edge.

Please click on the link and then click on the download and install from the Google play store and try it out.

We look forward to hearing from you. Let us know the results and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Once you have answered the above questions, we can recommend other troubleshooting steps.

Sincerely

Zhang Yang - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
