After update, cannot sign into Microsoft Rewards from Bing homepage

Hello,

   Usually when I start for the day, I go to Bing homepage from Edge and do daily Rewards stuff. After an update last night was done while shutting down, today if I go to Bong homepage in both Edge and Chrome, I am unable to show as signed into Rewards as seen in the attached picture. I had to access the Rewards pages using another method.

   Instead from Bing homepage I am asked to join the program but if I click the button, it reloads Bing homepage and continues to ask me the same thing over and over.

Bing's not the only one.  Firefox, Chrome and Steam users are also having difficulty getting their desktop clients to work.  Making things even more fun is the "Bad Neighbor" IPv6 exploit that got past QA and deployed in Tuesday's update, plus the browser hijack trojans preventing AM programs (like MBAM, Zemana and AdwCleaner) from running.

A lot of us are in the same boat, basically.  All we can do is wait for Microsoft's management to finish its latest "Mommie Dearest" re-enactment so they can actually fix the problem.  Unfortunately, it would require replacing the entire QA and Development departments with actual programmers and IT graduates instead of the PR folks they seem to have currently.

I don't want to imagine what would happen if they really got mad about something, like a public figure's kid getting caught because of some emails...

Nah, don't worry about it.  I'm sure the locals have already started brandishing their lit torches and pitchforks so we'll just have to sit tight for now.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who accidentally calls Edge "Bing."
