Something That Was Cool

Does anyone remember the Crackdown 2 demo? It was pretty neat and one of my favorite features was the achievement feature in the demo. Do the achievement in the demo, get it in the retail game. I think devs should first of all, get more demos out and implement this.

They already do.  That idea has been around for the longest time.  I actually got achievements in the Hexic HD demo.  Eventually, they started saying "Woah... you can only get this achievement if you buy the game."  Pretty much all the arcade demos are like that.

Yeah in Arcade games but in retail games I mean.

Oh well I'm not sure about retail.  But does it really matter since you'll probably get the cheevo again eventually anyway?

Some arcade games nowadays lets you unlock gamerpics during the demo.

[/quote]There's no reason you should have to do something you've already done to get an achievement. It's obviously not a big deal. But convenience is always a selling point for me.

Gearsolf war 3 beta had it if I'm not mistaken. I agree, I think its an awesome idea, for numerous reasons.

They do that alot in arcade games. Trials HD iirc .
