Disapointed with Shang Tsung.

I was kind of let down by Shang this time around too, but mostly because he lost his ability to morph into anyone in the game whenever he wants. Ironically, he's still considered a pretty high tier fighter in this MK though.

I agree about the fatalities. The developers' "reasoning" for the "clown" fatality was they were poking fun at MK vs DC Universe's teen rating. But I honestly found that as just an excuse to be lazy and recycle that lame fatality. It's a tossup between Shang's and Sonya's for "worst fatalities in the game" for me.

I thought the 'Bang Bang' Fatality pretty funny (That's cause I thought MKv.DCU was garbage, and only played it for about 1 hour), but that's about it his move set was horrendous.

Without his soul steal fatality and not being able to morph into any character at will can we really even call him Shang Tsung?

I dislike Shang Tsung. His fatalities suck and I am not found of his move list being almost entirely made up of missile attacks.

Shang Tsung sucks for sure, but I like his Joker fatality. Probably because I played MK vs DCU a lot and was annoyed when I couldn't see it.

People say Shang Tsung is good because of the possibilities with him in theory he's good.  His soul steal is good because certain strings can be canceled with it and  It will be safe since soul steal is safe.  His grab gives him health back although its the weakest.  When his soul steal connects it will make him change into that person plus give about x1.5 damage boost.  So takes everyone's strongest combo and do the math there.  Not to mention he can continue the combo when he changes back.  That Includes everyones X-Ray too those become ridiculous.  But that's not all you would need to know every characters best pokes, zoning tools, punishers, strongest combo just to be efficient with him.

I agree his move set is pretty good and can do sick damage in the right hands. But his fatalities suck IMO.  If they gave him his soul steal fatality, that would make him my main for sure. He has been mymain since MK 2.

He is a beast in this game and if you learn how to use him properly he's probably one of the best fighters in the game.

I don't mind his fatality but I wish he actually would morph into the Joker instead on a knockoff.

His moves and combos seem lame. i found some decent combos with him which r executable in versus, so i actually like his move sets.  Hit fatalities, i might be the minority who liked MK vs DC except the fact that it was TEEN. so i like his joker fatality. i agree though he needs his soul steal fatality, or perhaps, since it doesnt seam like motaro is gonna be playable.... why not morph into Motaro for a Fatality?

That would be awsome if he had a Motaro fatality!!!
