Dead Rising 3 Companion app doesnt work

Anyone else have this where the app just shows a symbol in the background saying federal bureau of zombie defense and control with a home button that does nothing? a friend and i are both having this issue... im in chapter 2

Same here - and when I switched it off I started getting 'text' messages about extra missions.

I hope having it on during chapter 1-2 didn't stop me getting any side missions or strongbox unlocks!

Same problem here with iPhone & ipad. I have the correct app, am signed in & connected, but the companion won't let me click the home button. I've had it working a couple of times but it only seems to work maybe 1 time in 10.

I only had that if Dead Rising 3 was loading but as soon as I was in and moving it worked fine with my iPad 2.

I have the same problem, but I found that by launching Dead Rising from Smartglass, it worked first time for me. It did NOT work when Dead Rising was running in the main window of the Xbox home screen, so I launched another app to replace it & then launched the game from Smartglass on my iPad. After all the loading was done & I entered my saved game, and the companion worked perfectly.

Yep the app doesn't work and the voice commands are buggy and rarely work even if you scream them out.  Kinda lame.

I have the same issue too. I tried it multiple times before, it didn't work. I tried it again another day and it worked great, so i left it on and kept playing and then out of the blue it stopped working, showed me the security logo with the home button unable to press it. (im on windows phone 8) had my friend using ipod try installing it and he had the same issue.

yeah I had to restart the app or the game and it works. Buggy as hell so I hope the stability is fixed soon.
