Yeah this is what i get when trying to add points.

"Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status code: 803E0002"

Ive searched on this status code on google... NOTHING

1.If you could sign into xbox.com, then go to "My Account" (There is a link at the top right of the screen, under your gamertag).

2.Then Under "Paymet & Billing" select "Billing Contact Information".

3.Then Change your email address to an email that is not the one ties to your xbox live account.

4.Check all your other info is correct, then save.

5.Try making a purchase again.

Same here and I did exactly what BlueWolve said and no... still not working I'm really starting to doubt Xbox Live's system it's the 3rd time I'm calling because I have a problem...

Hey Faiir RaVeN, sorry to hear about your troubles when adding points to your account. I myself have been unable to locate any other info about this error code other than this thread that you created... No results from Google or Bing.

As far as other troubleshooting steps, are you able to remove the card and add it back to your account, then attempting the purchase? Or have you tried using a different payment method? Please include this information in your new topic. Thanks!

Same problem here. I did, what GronTron described, but it doesn't work for me. I still get the error code 803E0002 when i'm trying to upgrade to Xbox Live Gold. Sometimes i get 80070057.

I also tried to remove my card, but when doing so, I only get another error here on xbox.com...

I don't know what to do...

Hey guys. @ Putin - I would suggest calling Phone Support for billing issues, especially if you are getting an error at xbox.com.


@ Azfin - If you are signed into your XBL profile on xbox.com, just click marketplace, and browse for what you want to purchase. When you choose to purchase it, or download it, it will push it to your Xbox.
