Usar laptop como Monitor

Buenos días,lo que sucede es que tengo una laptop HP DV5 y trae una funcion en el boton F4 que dice conectar a proyector,y me han dicho que si se puede ya que yo tengo un cable HDMI Dynex y queria saber si conecto un extremo al xbox 360 y el otro a la laptop y funciona? justo ahorita los tengo conectados pero al parecer no funciona,queria saber si esto funciona asi,Gracias

[Good morning, what happens is I have a HP DV5 laptop and brings a function in the F4 button that says connect to the projector, and they told me that if you can because I have a Dynex HDMI cable and wanted to know if I connect one end the xbox 360 and the other to the laptop and it works? just right now I have them connected, but apparently does not work, I wanted to know if this works well, Thanks]
