New Update wont download so I cant play online!

Ok so I went on my Xbox at about 5:30 to play some Black Ops with my friends , I got the Notification for the update and I Accepted it . But the Update wont download , I keep getting a Status Code and An Error Message . It is now 8:05 and I still haven't been able to play online . I have attempted it numerous times but each time it fails . This is very annoying becaue I cant even connect to Xbox Live without the stupid thing so I wont be able to play online without it . Does anyone know why this is happening?

I dont have the Status Code ATM because I am in the middle of an attempt , But when it fails I will post the error message and Status Code.

Yeah some people are having this problem, me included. Hopefully MS will get on it soon. Need some duty time...

mines the same. xbox is really starting to **** me of now. they always have some kind of problem

I've tried updating for over 5 times now.

Still getting the error message with the status code and my code means they've accused me of modding?

My Slim is 100% stock.

Once you get that error message I think your Xbox is also flagged for a ban.

The USB download for this update was released today  support.xbox.com/.../system-updates.aspx

i doubt you get flagged for a ban, for a lot of people they will get the error message when nothing was wrong (like me and a lot of us) but the usb or cd way might work for you and if it was trying to download from live that was the only problem then its harsh to just ban people

I finally got the update today after trying the USB method and having it fail on me ,

It kept saying something.exe cannot be moved destination drive has no space . And I was using a 4gb USB with nothing on it.

But I finally got it , Whats different apart from the PayPal and the New Disc Format that allows for 20% more space?

you really wont notice anything new at all.  Its mainly under the radar changes.
