Media Remote Compatibility with Soyo MT-SYTPT3718AB 37-Inch LCD HDTV

I have a Soyo MT-SYTPT3718AB 37-Inch LCD HDTV (purchased circa 2007) and neither of the Soyo codes for the older white remote work with it for power, channel, volume, mute, etc.

Since the original remote that came with the TV seems to be failing I'd like to get one of the new black Xbox Media Remotes - but only if the codes work with my TV.

Can anyone confirm that the codes listed work with this TV?

The codes are: 1546, 1746, 1738, 0466, 1826, 1789, 1830, 1831

I purchased the new Xbox Media Remote and was able to find a code that worked from the list of Soyo codes provided (the code for this TV is 1746).

The TV power button functions as expected to turn the TV on and off.

Volume, Mute, and Input buttons function properly.

The Guide, Back, Last, and Disp buttpms don't seem to work.

Changing the channel doesn't work with this code either.

The net result is that it works fine if you want to use the remote to power on your TV, switch to Xbox input, and control the volume as you play content - but it's not really compatible with this TV as far as channel surfing and other features are concerned.
