Help removing parental control on my account?!?!?!

This was such an idiotic mistake I made when creating my first live account about 10 months ago. I set my account to child instead of adult. I had to leave setting my account up to my brother basically, because I had to do something. So my account is a 'child' and I have been prompted to enter my mother's email address and password when the new terms and conditions comes up. Why x box? Why would you make a new terms and conditions if no one reads them and everyone gets the basic idea of it. No hacking CoD lobbies so people jump 200ft into the air or you'll get the ban stain. BACK TO THE POINT. My mother doesn't remember what her password was a year ago, and now its 11:30PM so I can't talk to her or call her to ask her anything else. So the question I've been wanting to ask is. How can I remove the parental control on my x box live account, or how can I make my account an adult without signing into x box live? I can't sign into live because it prompts me to accept the terms before i can sign in. This is really going to irritate me, because Microsoft has to make things just a little bit more difficult! HOW CAN I REMOVE THE PARENTAL CONTROL ON MY ACCOUNT OR HOW CAN I MAKE MY ACCOUNT AN ADULT WITHOUT SIGNING IN TO X BOX LIVE?

I had the same Issue - just fixed it.

I went to the xbox live site and signed in there. It prompted me to accept the new terms of service, but didnt ask for my parent's account details.

It then let me sign in on my xbox without needing my parents details. First thing I did after that was promote my account to an adult account :)

I have the same problem, I don't even live with the person who put parental settings on my account. I have no way of getting the password, so I can't sign into Xbox Live =[

have the same problem just tried logging in on line but still ask's for parental authorisation any other way i can remove it or change the password on the parental account?

This is horrible. I'm 26 years old and have no association with my parents. Why did this just suddenly get turned on? I can't do anything about it...
