FAR CRY 3

Just seen the footage of one of the E3 demo's - Looks awesome!, nice to see a return to a more tropical locale, I love the idea of playing as an ordinary bloke who gets caught up in a crazy situation, the dev's have also hinted at a more rpg like structure to the game with xp rewards and a bigger and more rewarding exploration aspect. sounds good - what do you think

Yeah, the demo looks really good. I love the setting, they said that there is going to be more than one island which is going to cool.

It looks much much better than 2, FarCry 2 was the most boring game ever!! At least with 3, it has a good story and has you actually doing different things, instead of the same, over and over.

Some more good news is that there will be ' Fast Travel ', so no more wandering around looking for bus stops

Just watched the the E3 stuff, this looks like one seriously sick game! I know a lot of gamers used to hate on Far Cry 2, but I thought it was a solid game that really gave the player a lot of freedom. Far Cry 3 is on my list now : )

Anyone know if the video shown was on PC or the 360. I liked Far Cry 2, even with it's flaws, but I would be jacked to play a much tighter game.

[/quote] Apparently the footage was from PC using a 360 controller, hence the button prompts, but I did see a comment from one of the devs saying that the console versions would be on par with the the pc's, which probably wont be the case, but im sure it'll still look great.
