Just thought I would share. If perhaps you are having difficulty, Connecting your system onto the network or internet in your hotel, here is a quick and simple solution.
Call the hotels customer support for their ISP.
We are currently staying in Towneplace Suites by Marriott (who's customer support number is 877-530-0820). I struggled with the internet connection, went thru the walk thru step by step, on xbox.com, trying to resolve the issue. Finally completed every option
of trial and error, and was advised to document my IP address and MAC address, which it went thru and showed me the steps on how to obtain the information. Which was much appreciated, as this hippie mama is not electronic intelligent.
Called the ISP customer support, explained my problem, and she said no problem, did I have the IP address, which I gave her. Retested the live connection and problem solved. She simply added me onto the network. It took less than 3 mins to complete.
So if at first you don't succeed...Call your ISP customer support.
