Can I connect my offline xbox 360 profile with an existing online windowsl ive profile? If so, how?

Hello! I have a problem with my xbox live account.

I've played on the xbox with an profile I made there without connecting it to xbox live.
Then I created an xbox live account on my computer and now I wanted to connect it to the profile I played with on the xbox but it says to me that I can't because my email adress is already in use... with another profile....

And I mean, it's not, or it's kinda are but I don't want it and I want to connect my offline profile to the xbox account I created on my computer.

How do I do? Or can I delete this one so I can make it through my xbox instead?

What you need to do is, log in to the account on you console. Go to Join Xbox Live, then type in a Email address that is not associated with a gamertag.

Side note: If you went to Xbox.com and signed in with a Microsoft Account ID and it automatically gave you a gamertag, it is now associated with a gamertag and cannot be used again. DO NOT GO TO XBOX.COM AND SIGN IN DURING REGISTRATION UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED SAID REGISTRATION ON YOUR CONSOLE AND IT SAYS YOU ARE SUCCESSFULLY A MEMBER. If you do go to Xbox.com and sign in with that email that isn't associated with anything Xbox.com will automatically give you a Gamertag because it sees one isn't associated and you're trying to access a site that requires a gamertag when you sign in. So you'll be in a loop.
