Account Renewal - Contacts List Gone...?

I changed my bank card that was associated to my Xbox Live account, but forgot to update the details on my actual Xbox. My 12mth Gold membership came to renew and hit the obvious error of payment details being wrong. For various reasons, it's taken my a month or two to get it sorted - I've gone online, changed my card and it's renewed fine. However, because my account was "suspended" due to a billing error, it now appears my Friends List has been deleted? Is there any way of recovering this?

Can you still view your friends list while on xbox.com? If so, then it sounds like your profile is just corrupted on your console. Delete your profile through the System Settings and then do a Recover Gamertag.
