component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid
while installing a software i got a message like "component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid"...........what can i do to solve this problem.i am using windows 7 os ..pls help me..
Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
I would suggest you to try the following threads and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Try to re register ‘MSWINSCN.OCX’ and check if it helps.
Follow the steps to reregister the ‘MSWINSCN.OCX’:
a.Click Start, type “command” in the start search box.
b.From the program list right click
cmd.exe, and click on Run as administrator.
c.Type “regsvr32.exe mswinsck.ocx” Without quotes and hit
Enter.
The normal location of file is
C:\Windows\System32.
Method 2:
Run System File Checker Tool scan and check if it helps.
