Hi,

• Do you get any error message along with the blue screen?
• Were there any changes prior to this issue?
• How frequently does the blue screen occur?

Step 1: Check what happens in safe mode.

“Start your computer in safe mode “ http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: if the issue does not happen in safe mode, perform clean boot.

In Clean Boot, windows use a minimal set of services and startup programs so that software conflict is eliminated. To put the computer in clean boot state follow the steps in the article “How to perform Clean Boot”http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Please ensure that the computer is set to start as usual by following the step 7 from the articlehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Also refer to “Resolving stop (blue screen) errors in Windows 7” http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

As it is a new computer, you can also get in touch with the manufacturer since the computer would be under warranty.
