Hi franscorky,

1. Do you have updated drivers installed for the printer?
2. What is the make and model of the printer?
3. Have you logged in as a standard user or administrator?
4. Since when are you facing this issue?
5. Why are you trying to manually start the print spooler service?

6. What happens when you try printing?

I would suggest you to login as an administrator and check.

Also you may update the drivers for the device and check if the issue persists –

You may also refer to the below link and check -
