I have been getting Windows 7 all installed and set up over the last few days. Did a clean install on a box that had XP. At some point today, Windows 7 started losing a lot of my personal setting on every reboot. I have no idea if I flipped a setting
that would do this or if something is scrogged. Examples of what is lost are my settings in IE and FireFox (I use both browser as required by my job). The customization of the tool bars and which ones are displayed are all reset to defaults for both browsers
on reboot. Also I lose all of my saved ID/Password for various web sites. I am not sure what all else is being lost, but do any of you have an idea of what might cause this?
It seems that there were a lot of issues with the initial install of W7 on this box. I simply started over and did a new clean install and all is well nwo in this area. Thank you for your feedback.
