For some reason the network at my work is giving me this error, but my home network downloaded everything fine.  I will need to see if they are blocking something since we are testing Windows 10.  Thank you for your help.

I also have the same issue.

Neither of the solutions here are working.

Also, windows updates are not downloading after the anniversary update.

I was having this problem and tearing my hair out.  I tried resetting the Windows Update services and everything else I could find on the web.

I am not sure exactly what this error code means (0x80d05001), but it seems to indicate that somehow network traffic is being blocked.  For some people this is a proxy server problem, for me it was an adblocker installed on my router (Privoxy).

Interestingly I have had trouble streaming Netflix on devices that are behind my adblocker as well, so I think I am going to retire this solution.

Hopefully this helps someone determine the root cause for their system.

This isn't a really viable answer.  if I disable the proxy, then I can't get to the internet at all.

How do I get it to work with a proxy?

I have never used a proxy server, and I'm still getting the same error.  I can no longer purchase or download apps from the store.

I have no proxy set, but at work I am behind a proxy. Previous updates installed, but update 14931 gets to 94% and then shows this error.

What site is it trying to contact? can the updates be downloaded manually?
