I am currently running Windows 10 Anniversary Update (14393) on my Acer Aspire V3-772G.
I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 10 Creators Update using the Windows 10 Update Assistant.
After downloading and approximately 75% of the way through the installation, it announces that "something went wrong" and provides error code 0x8007001F.
This is the error log in the Panther directory:

The log has a lot more in it of course, but that's where this error number first shows up; it shortly spits out the same errors you see in the error log.
I do realize that this laptop is not on Acer's list of supported machines for the Creators Update. It's also not on the Anniversary Update list -- but it works anyway. And I don't care if Acer supports it or not -- I'm not expecting to call them for help with my computer.
EDIT: SOLVED! For some stupid reason this website doesn't let me mark my own reply as the solution. I solved it myself. The solution is in the replies below. I had to turn off Secure Boot.
