I have 4 computers here that I would have expected the latest consolidated update but one doesn't seem to want to download it.

Folks, any ideas?

I, personally, don't/won't do anything yet.....

I'm going to sit back and wait a bit more before deciding what to patch when...

Too many open and unclear questions for my taste in all this wild "nobody is really sure of anything" situation....

Hi,

Rather than posting a new question I thought I would reply this.

I have been checking for updates regularly expecting to receive the Meltdown update KB4056892. I am using Kaspersky internet security and Malwarebytes both of which are listed as compatible with the update. I have not yet received this update and when I check I am informed Windows is up to date. I am using Windows 10 Version 1709.

I am a bit concerned and not sure what to do. Having looked at the Microsoft Update catalogue I am also  unsure which of the listed downloads for KB4056892 to download ? I am not very tech savvy and have limited knowledge.

Presumably it is:

2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892)

Last Modified:1/4/2018

This is what has appeared  on previous updates.

                                                    Any advice appreciated. regards

UPDATE: The Microsoft update KB4056892  finally arrived and has been installed successfully
