This issue could be caused due to the following reasons:
Power Settings.
Third Party Hardware/Software conflicts.
Let’s try the following methods to resolve this issue:
Method 1:
I would suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter and check if it helps.
a) Press the ‘Windows Key + W’ key on the keyboard.
b) Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press
enter.
c) Select Troubleshooting. Click on view all
and select Power.
d) Click next and follow the on-screen instructions.
Method 2:
I would suggest you to disconnect all the external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) except mouse and the keyboard and then wake the computer from sleep mode
and check if it helps.
If this fixes the issue, then add the devices one after the other until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.
Method 3:
If the issue still persist, I would suggest you to restore the power plan to the default settings
a. Press
Windows Key + X, and select the option Control Panel (Classic View).
b. Click on the
Power Options icon.
c. Click on
Change advanced power settings.
d. Select the option “Restore default settings for this plan”.
