windows 10 update KB3149135/KB3163018 causes the power icon to stop showing!

hi, I just installed these two updates for my pc, and now my power icon is greyed out in settings for turning on/off system icons, not sure witch one may have caused it, if possible, Microsoft, could you release an update to fix this, also is anyone else having this problem?

No issues here after installing KB3163018 & KB3149135. Tried rebooting? If that doesn't help, clearing the notification icons might do the trick.

Must be nice Ramesh ...  Not even ONE Update for Windows 10 has installed on ANY of my 9 PC's and I get no help from Microsoft since I first joined the Insider Program early last year.

In order to get ANY updates installed I have had to format and reinstall Windows - which DOES work but have you ANY idea what a total pain it is to installed 4 version of Visual Studio, 5 versions of SQL Server and 3 versions of MySQL every single update?

ChrisJamesM - in your case I highly recommend getting into the habit of downloading the  larger updates from the Windows Update Catalog,  http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx .  Yes, manual download and direct install, but .. what's your time worth until the Updates issue is resolved? You should not have had to do a reinstall.

After installing this update my Toshiba P50t -b stopped charging the battery. Shows " Plugged and not charging " when positioning the cursor on the battery icon .

I can not use in normal mode, turn off seconds after logged in.

In safe mode I have no problem. Stays on for hours.

I have a similar problem... my battery charage status is at 40% connect but no in charge.

The laptop is an HP book 4510s with Windows10 Pro 32bit.

I try:

1) Check battery from bios, and  is at 80% of life, around 100/300 charge/discharge cycle... so battery is ok to work.

2) Check by HP battery software manager in Windows, it can't find battery and crash.

3) So i remove the battery, turn on the pc, remove the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method" driver, reboot with only AC power adapter, another reboot with battery and AC power adapter, the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method driver was reinstalling automaticaly but I have the same problem.

4) Try with another AC power adapter, I have the same problem.

5) Try with another Abattery, I have the same problem.

Any solution?

Sorry for my bad english.
