Hi,

Try uninstalling Realtek Audio driver. To do so, open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. After doing so, Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to install the most compatible driver for your PC.

Let us know how things goes.

Regards.

I tried everything. It's not working.... I installed a 1607 version on a secondary hdd (clean install). DTS Interactive works fine. Then tried a 1703 clean install.. not working, there is no "DTS Interactive 5.1" output on realtek control panel. There is a DTS interactive option in windows (playback devices, SPDIF optical) but when i trying to select it throw an error.. not supported on device. Same problem with different realtek driver versions...

Hello,

I also recently updated from the actual official build to 1703.

The Realtek High Definition Audio driver doesn't accept Dolby Digital Live and DTS Surround anymore. Reinstalling the driver doesn't solve the problem.

Downgraded Windows 10 because I need the Dolby Digital 5.1.

Post here when it works with the Creators Update, please.

Same problem here. Upgraded to 1703 on a computer runnung Anniversary Update. DTS Connect was working fine with 1607 on a Asus M5A97 EVO 2.0 with Realtek ALC887 Chipset.

Installed was Realtek Driver R2.81 fully working with 1607. After installing 1703 (Build 15063.13) the audio driver run insane creating 100% CPU load. After reinstalling the CPU load problem was 100% solved but also DTS Connect was not working anymore. Another driver reinstall did not solve the issue.

We have had this issue with the innitial Windows 10 release back in 2015. It took MS almost 6 month to solve it. Hopefully not this time.

I guess they messed something up with the integration of Dolby Atmos Headphone Audio. Maybe they should look into that first.

Same problem here.

ALC889 on Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 motherboard. After upgrading to 15063, DDL unable to be activated anymore. Tried all the new drivers (up to 6.0.1.8083 from update catalog) I could found, none of them work.

Please fix this problem.

Hey,

Got the exact same issue here aswell since I updated to 1703 last night.

Running on GA Z68X-UD4-B3 with Realtek ALC889 codec on the latest available R2.70 drivers.

I've reinstalled it 3 times, tried it with the Microsoft drivers but neither did work.

I can select "Dolby digital live 5.1" in the settings, however when im trying to apply it it just end in a incompatability error.

Please fix it its overall a pretty decent Update but the sound issues are killing it completly for me.

Thanks for your patience
