I can't figure out how to logout of the new Outlook mail program.

You should be able to log out of your account using the instructions given by kathleencollins. It is possible that you are unable to see this in your toolbar because of a corrupted file in your browser. Open Internet Explorer.

Ctrl + Shift + P will open an InPrivate Browsing window.

Go to http://www.outlook.com and sign in with your account.

You do not have to logout of your husband's account.
