identification of points on charts when mouse hovers over the point

I have just upgraded to 2010 from 2007 on my laptop. I contimue to have 2003 on my desktop. When I have chart up in 2003 and hover over a point on the chart, the x and y values appear. That does not work for me in 2010. So how do I get the x and y values of a point on a chart in 2010 to appear when I move the mouse over the point.

When in the store there was a computer with 2010 loaded and I tested and the values did appear. Could the problem be that I upgraded over 2007 rather than making a custom installatiom.
