Is there built in checksum for win 10?

I tried www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11533 "Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier" ... But it is not supporeted on new windows os's!

Or i just did not do right command in CMD?  Should i remove it from Win 10? Is there built in checksum for win 10?

Answer
Answer

The FileChecksumIntegrity verifier kb841290 does work in Windows10 for sha1 & md5. Yes it can be tricky to install. From your admin accnt when you double click on it to extract/de compress it and install to ..... C:\Windows\System32

This way you can hold down the shift key and right click on the folder to bring up the context menu with the "open command window here" option.

Another built in way-  CertUtility can be used to verify md2,3,4,5    sha1,256,384,512

CMD as admin= C:\Windows\system32>CertUtil -hashfile

                                                                                             space complete path to file

An Example=

C:\Windows\system32>CertUtil -hashfile C:\Users\other\Downloads\Zorin9\zorin-os-9.1-core-64.iso MD5

This insider community forum interface is very poor, None of the "Bold,Italic, underscore " posting features seem to work.

I'll try to post a screenshot
