Winterhold College bug?

Ok after the 2nd sentence, I think you missed a line, cause it starts to confuse the HELL out of me.

There is no joining the college in any particular school. The spell at the beginning is random and can be from any school. If you know the spell you use it if you don't you need to acquire it and hers is the cheapest. It's the only wy you can join the college. The only thing that tells you what school you start in is the set of novice robes and as far as I know that is determined by what school is shown in your stats as your favorite. To influence it just use Illusion until that's what shows.

I had no idea that you were part of any set school.... I have joined the college twice in two different playthroughs and I have had exactly the same quest lines, so is there actually any imapct depending on what school you join under?

I figured that there'd be a set quest line for each school.  This is only my second play through and I had hoped there'd be a different quest line for it.  Oh well.  I have my answers and I thank y'all for helping me out.

Nothing different based on what school you favor, but each school has a special side quest when your skill in that school is 90+

The side quest is total BS, and all Master spells are useless. Especially Destruction's...

I don't know about that. Since I got double enchant and have free destruct and alteration, I am having a good time handing out Fireballs to everyone. I got free alteration for the flesh spells which I can now renew without draining away my magic. I want restoration but I haven't found anything yet to disenchant.

Oh you glitched armour did you? I did it once, realised how unfair it is and just dropped it (should have sold it -.-), anyway, the master spells are crap, it's better to just use the Expert spells, more damage per second. 2 blasts at 90 each = 180. Which is 60 more damage per second than the Master electric spell (the Master flame and frost is COMPELTE CRAP). If you could MOVE when you cast the spell, then it'd be better. 3 seconds to get the spell to even start working and then it ends up it does LESS damage?

Are you speaking to me? I didn't glitch my armor at all. Four pieces at 25% equals free and that is not glitched. I could even do 34% unglitched. My fireballs are Adept spells and I have nothing higher than that. I probably won't use the alteration spells as much though since they are very loud and I usually sneak.

Wait what? What do you have on!? I use Arch-Mage robes, Naahkrin's mask Extreme Destruction Ring, and one more with a 30% reduction. This adds up to like 110%, is mine glitched or something?
