Upgrade Xbox Live Gold Pack to 12 Month

I want to upgrade Xbox Live Gold Pack from 1 mth to 12 mth from computer. However, this always says : "This action cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later. For more information, go to http://www.xbox.com/support."

What can I do to confirm my purchase so that I can have the 12mth. Gold Pack?

Have you tried purchasing this on the console? If you still can't, what is the full error message/code you are getting?
