Type Of Games That Should Be Released Other Than Japan Only.

Probably because the crazy amount of localization involved in some of those and that there is almost no market for them, I would guess.

Those games are marketed for the right people.

I can't see those games doing well at all in North America.

It's just like anime... There are a crapload of released anime in Japan, and only a select few make it big.  Even more so, even fewer make it big in the US.  Spice and Wolf is one of my favorite anime shows, but no one else has ever heard of it.  BTW, it's sorta love story-ish.  You may like it, Crazy... If you're into wolf-girls.  I know I am.

I don't read manga.  I don't read anything except for the med labels I see on a day-to-day basis.

The only thing that Japan has that I want is the Tales series....in particular Japan Ps3 Vesperia port to 360. They can keep everything else.

And some of them have one of the best love stories, right?

The market for the genre isn't big enough to be seen as a reasonable decision. Plus, with the amount of localization that's needed, that just makes it worse. Localization would be bigger than the actual amount of North American fans of the genre.

It's a shame that it feels like a certain genre can only be exclusive to one country/region. It would be like if shooters were exclusive to North America.

Like what JAH Herb mentioned, the selected few who are interested in those Japanese games can buy a Jap console and parallel import the games from Play-Asia. It is one of those most reputable on-line store in Asia.
