These Skyrim women suck on rocks

I want to hook up with Temba Wide-Arm but, all she wants me to do is cut wood, chop fire wood. I did all that for a full day, and night, and still no marriage.

Then,  Mjoll at Riften was next on my list of possibles. I went on her sword quest, took her on a few outings but, all this women wanted was to fight, fight, fight. She hungered to fight, and no mentioned for marriage. I think she loves that guy who saved her life he has her house key.

Therefore, I can see now getting married in Skyrim is going to be tough. Oh, this is not a complaint just an observation.

Being married to Mjoll the Lioness, I know that you are doing it wrong.  You have to go to the temple in Riften and talk to the guy there about marriage, he will explain about an amulet needed for getting married, he will sell you the amulet, then, after you put the necklace on, you can speak to Mjoll, and she should have the marriage option.  I am not sure if Temba is one you can wed.

Do you have the Amulet of Mara? It says you must speak to Maramal about marriage in Skyrim before any dialogue related to the Amulet of Mara will show up. After that, new dialogue will be unlocked with certain NPC's if you are both wearing the Amulet of Mara and met the requirement relating to them.

Only you have to be wearing the amulet of mara.  The NPC does not have to wear one.

Just realised it may look as if both you and the NPC need to be wearing one, but it ment to look like you need to both complete the requirement for the person and have the Amulet equiped.

That's how the Wiki had it. My apologies for any confusion, I tried to edit it out to make it more understandable, but got denied.

I appreciate the irony in the fact that the OP jumps right into speaking negatively about the women of Skyrim when he is the one that is completely ignorant to how marriage works in thier world.  One more notch in the "Riven whining about something" column.

Typical man. He's doing it wrong and blames the woman. Men do this all the time. Just ask my wife.

No, I disagree. He didn't know, sure, but this is perfectly fine.

.

Riven, you'll need the Amulet of Mara from the Temple in Riften, and once you're wearing it eligible women will mention marriage. All you have to do is follow their questions up : )

I know! He's fumbling around, doesn't know what he's doing and blames the girl for being unhappy. This explains a lot about his posts. Get the strategy guide!...for girls. Lol
