Firewalker volcano mission

I'm unable to find my way out of the volcano once it starts to crumble. I manage to follow the upward path but get stuck on a platform when lava starts to rise too high. How can I make the shuttle jump that far or is there a better way out?

Hey, there. Fortunately, there is only one linear path from which to navigate your escape route when the volcano station goes off. So on either of the platform sections you'll have to use the thrusters to gain enough speed to make the leap across the chasms. Holding on the jump button helps the Firewalker hover longer.

Thanks! I had forgotten about the jump button LOL. Tried it with the left trigger only.

The Firewalker Pack is the only DLC that I own that I don't have on my hard drive (360 or PC). I found it to be terrible, if I wanted  platform game I'd go and put on Super Mario.

[/quote]I only play Firewalker when using a biotic class so I get that extra upgrade.

My problem is that if I have a piece of DLC installed I feel obliged to play it.

 

I'll only add it back closer to the release of Mass Effect 3 in order to have a complete play through.
