Best game for toddlers?

I've got a three year boy who is dying to game with me. Problem is that I want him to play something that actually teaches him something. Any suggestions? I don't want to raise a button masher.

I love the Indie game "Draw a picture with me"  tons of fun.  The new Sesame Street Kinect game could be right up his alley.  Looks fun.

I couldn't find Draw a Picture with me, there is a painting party, but I haven't tried it yet. We are currently playing Toddler Tantrum which is like BabySmash if you have ever tried that on PC.

There are LOTS of games aimed at very small children on the Indie Games. It will take a while to go through them all, they have trial versions and mostly only cost 80 MS points, so worth checking out!

I found "Let's Draw A Picture Together" in the Other section, so we are trying that now.

For very young kids (6 monthes to a year), there is an indie game called A Game For Alexander.  It's 80 points and our 10 month old daughter loves it.

We had a sick day today, my little girl who is 2 has had a fever, so we played through quite a few indie trials.

Flash Cards for Kids is a pretty good educational game for learning the alphabet, numbers colours and shapes. It has mini games as well as just running through flash cards.

Find a Teddy, or something like that, is pretty cool too, like a Guess Who game with Teddy Bears.

Indie games are really great for toddlers because alot of them are 2D, so they get the basic coordination down and they're cheap.

My son is 3 now and we've been playing Kaleidoscope for almost a year now

I'll add that in games we play that aren't identified as 'learning' games, my boy, and I suspect other children pick up on things out of enthusiasm of learning the game, such as counting items, trying to read, colors, shapes
