Avatar Props - Help Please

Hi

Im not sure if this was the correct forum area to post but it seemed the most appropriate.

Anyway, just recently, i had purchased an Xbox Live Avatar Prop. To be specific, it was the "Husky" prop. I had selected the prop to use/wear, or whatever you would like to call it, however when i go to my profile the husky doesnt show or appear. However its visible when my friends visit my profile. Am i missing the point of props? What exactly are they meant to do and when exactly are they meant to appear? Are they not visible to the owner? If anyone has any idea on this issue or whether or not they will be visible to the owner in the future, then please let me know.

Interesting. Last I checked props are visible to the owner also. To usually see your prop from the dashboard you select SOCIAL tab, then select your avatar and when there it should pop up for you to view. If not I would clear your xbox cache and reboot. Hopefully that helps you. As a last resort you could try downloading your profile to your console

If the husky is a dog you can see it when you go to the Social tab and select your avatar.  Wait a couple of seconds and it will appear.

You have to wait for the prop to appear. It usually take 8-10 seconds or so.

Props are currently only visible when you click on your avatar and view it on it's own page.

Oh sweet, I cleared the cache, and it shows up after a few seconds so its all good now. I was hoping an update comes out soon that would make the dashboard how it kind of used to be.

With the avatar being displayed as soon as you turn on the xbox, but anways.

It's an issue brought up by many, so we'll have to wait and see if the programmers have listened to the input.
