Well, count me in as yet another affected customer.
Was working fine last night. After playing around with it for a couple hours, including playing a blu-ray movie which I left inserted, I verbally told Xbox One to turn itself off. Woke up this morning and pressed the Xbox button on the controller. Nothing. Tapped the power button on the console itself, nothing. Unplugged everything, plugged it back in, nothing. Have been doing this all morning, waiting sometimes an hour in between and leaving everything unplugged. Tried with/without cable connection, tried with/without kinect, without anything at all, etc. Tried switching wall outlets too. Tried swapping HDMI cables. No success. At one point during all this it yelped out some very very short 3-beep tune or something. Haven't heard from it since.
The power supply is always on with an orange light whenever its plugged into the Xbox. I also noticed what others have posted and that the light will go off if I unplug the cable connection in the HDMI IN port. It will turn back on again if I plug it in again.
Seriously, tried everything, including yelling at it, kneeling and begging in front of Kinect while sacrificing a chicken, bribing it with money, stripping naked in front of it, and even abusing my PS4 in front of it. It just won't turn on!!!
I haven't tried dropping out of a 10-story building yet, but I'm tempted.
